The food with which we choose to nourish our bodies deeply affects all aspects of our physical and mental well-being. Plant-based nutritional choices can help to reduce inflammation, fortify the immune system, limit fatigue, and defend against illness and disease. Knowledge is power!

The sourcing and seasonality of the foods we choose is a first step to empowering local farmers as well as local consumers. Ethical and conscious food choices translate into actions toward crucial renewal - of the earth on which we live, of the body which each of us inhabits, of the minds which offer us choice and reason.

The choice of plant-based nutrition is not only a fully healthy lifestyle commitment, but also a firm statement toward reducing the negative footprint that each individual leaves on his family, his community, his planet.

Alternative nutritional choices offer a variety of intrinsic heath benefits, from enhanced vitality to healthier tissues to disease prevention. Using food as medicine is a positive action for each individual. This decision offers a greater reliance upon naturally occuring phenomena from nutrients for prevention, which, in turn, lessens the dependance upon the medical profession to heal ailments. Self-reliance for physical well-being through nutrition empowers the individual and thus empowers all. 

MUSH offers a variety of workshops and activities to promote awareness and practical insight into alternative, holistic nutritional lifestyle choices. These range from Body Type Assessment and Nutritional Awareness Training for athletes, to MiniMush, designed specifically for kids and parents together, as well as  Integrative Ayurvedic Yoga Workshops, for all ages.
